Explore Minnesota Tourism
These four spots were created as part of the “Only in Minnesota” (#OnlyinMN) campaign created at Colle + McVoy for Explore Minnesota Tourism.
The concept was to tell three different stories of people taking trips around the state enjoying the unique experiences, adventures and attractions of our state. The launch spot weaved all three stories together into a sixty-second whirlwind montage.
The other three spots were thirty seconds each and focused on each of the three adventures. One showed a group of friends taking a trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota.
The next shows a couple hitting the metro hotspots.
And the final spot follows a family traveling through the southeast (with some metro thrown in) seeing places like the Red Wing Boot Factory, and the Fairbault Woolen Mill.
I had some great collaborators on this project. I served as Director of Photography on the spots as well as Editor on the Launch Video and Nothern Buddies and Director on Northern Buddies. This was a terrific, exciting shoot to work on. We were often hitting five to six locations in a day and shooting hours upon hours of footage.
